A former teacher and long time photographer, I’ve spent years not only behind the camera but also in the classroom and darkroom, helping others discover the art of image making. With a Master’s degree in Arts Education, specialising in photography, I have a love for the photographic process, both analogue and digital.
As a mum, I bring a natural understanding of children to my studio sessions. I realise just how important it is for children to feel at ease, especially in unfamiliar settings like a photography studio. That’s why my sessions are never rushed, giving children the time and space they need to settle in and capture those real smiles.
In the past I have organised and run community arts projects, engaging young people creatively, and I continue to volunteer in the community, currently as a Rainbows volunteer.
Further to studio sessions, I am also available for location work, and offer personal branding and commercial sessions under the name of my studio, Factory 48 Photography.
